This practical course sets out the professional expectations of acceptable behaviour at work. Policies, procedures and legislation are all examined. Specific issues covered include the job description, time keeping, body language and communication, borrowing, social occasions, confidentiality, personal disclosure, friendships with service users, equal opportunities and diversity, and working in a manner that respects and promotes dignity, respect, choice, user consultation and independence
