Moving and Handling Division
There is a distinct Moving and Handling division within TCR which focuses on the very special and individual requirements by health and social care organisations in the moving and handling of patients and clients who may be adults or infants, children and young people.
The trainers are all accredited as moving and handling trainers and have health professional qualifications which include ergonomics, nursing, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, some at Masters Level.
Within this division TCR has trainers who are qualified to deliver training for Trainers to specialist groups such as those who work with children including those with complex physical needs or children or adults with learning disabilities or mental health disorders.
Trainers’ experiences will be matched to the particular setting e.g. a community or hospital setting.
TCR Directors and Moving and Handling trainers are members of National Back Exchange which is the Lead Advisory Body for Moving and Handling Trainers in the UK.
