Mental Health First Aid

<< Back to previous page

Introduction
Mental Health First Aid is exactly what it suggests, a first aid approach to mental health.

Good mental health is something that we all need to function, have positive relationships and adjust to life events. One in four of the population will at some time have mental health problems.  The economic and social cost of mental health problems is greater than that of crime and larger than the total amount spent on all NHS and social services in the UK.

This is an accredited programme from the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP) that is supported and promoted nationally. The course is delivered by an accredited CSIP instructor.
