A journey of 1,000 miles starts with a single step. Nothing is too
small to be a start! So, what are you waiting for?
During this course, you will get the opportunity to clarify your thoughts and reflect on your goals, vision and direction. You will be inspired to take action to start achieving your goals.
Overall Aim
The workshop aims to offer participants the opportunity to explore
their personal development and skills so that they can reflect upon
their personal and professional goals and plan for action. The
workshop will also build confidence through the development of skills
for self-presentation in writing and in person.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course you will:
- Understand the concept of transferable skills and have acquired some tools for identifying your own transferable skills
- Have identified you own key skill gaps
- Have identified action(s) for your personal development
- Be able to present yourself more positively via written communication and in person
- Be able to take a more proactive approach to your own personal and professional development
