Interview and self presentation skills Workshop (Half-day or one-day)
This workshop will equip and prepare participants for the interview process.
Areas covered could include:
- Review and summarise the objectives of the interviewee and interviewer at a job interview
- The full interview process including the different methods and style of interviews
- Preparing for interviews
- Understanding rapport and building self-confidence
- Making an impact – body language, image, words, tone, self-marketing etc.
- The STAR approach
- Post interview – (successful and unsuccessful situations)
Depending on the course duration, participants will have the opportunity to understand the key things that recruiters watch out for and take part in interview practice exercises. They will also have the opportunity to work in groups and identify potential interview questions using specific job descriptions and person specifications.
