Creating a winning CV Workshop (Half-day or one-day)
This workshop will cover the essential elements necessary for creating a winning CV.
Areas covered could include:
- Understanding CVs and their purpose
- CV content
- Types of CVs (pros and cons for the different types)
- CVs do's and don'ts
- Action words for CVs
- Marketing skills effectively
- Electronic and portfolio CVs
Depending on the course duration, participants will have the opportunity to understand the key things that recruiters watch out for and practice writing their own CVs. They will also have the opportunity to work in groups and assess different CVs against advertised jobs (job descriptions and person specifications).
